On Wednesday the Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne presents the 2023 Biathle/Triathle World Championships in Nusa dua on Indonesia's favourite resort island Bali. Biathle includes running and swimming, while running, swimming, and shooting make up Triathle. The world's best amateur chess player gather in Muscat, Oman, to contest the World Championships. Crete hosts two important Table Tennis World Championships for athletes with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. This week's major show jumping competition takes us to Lyon in France for the Longines Equita Lyon. California's famous Huntington Beach will be much busier than usual with the World Flying Disc Federation World Beach Ultimate Championships.

Friday begins with fencing in Istanbul at the FIE Junior World Cup for women and men. The second major futnet tournament begins in Czechia's Modřice. The Under 21 World Championships runs until Sunday. Part of the World Obstacle family, the Spartan International Championship has the next stage in Sparti, Greece. From Mexico, the FIA Formula One World Championship moves to Brazil for the São Paulo Grand Prix over the weekend. El Salvador's capital San Salvador hosts the second FIE Junior World Cup for women, with épée as the fencing discipline.

Standard and Latin dancing are the disciplines in Sibiu, Romania, at the WDSF World Championships for Junior II and Adults. Sport fishing fans and experts gather in Sicily's Catania at the World Championships Shore Angling for men and women. Getzenrodeo is a popular date of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship taking us to Drebach in Germany. It is also the final round of the season. Staying in Germany where the city of Osnabrück in the northwest hosts the IDO World Inclusive Hip Hop & Popping & Breaking Cup 2023. Moving to the famous city of Brugge in Belgium for adults and juniors at the WDSF Disco World Championship. Madrid hosts the penultimate round of the FIM X-Trial World Championship. The second major sport fishing competition heads to Cork in Ireland for the World Championships Boat Angling for Juniors. Two sled dog sporting races feature over the weekend in North America both presented by the International Federation of Sleddog Sports. These will be in Auburn, New Hampshire, and Inverhuron, Ontario. Saturday completes for all the tough mudder fans as Granbury in Texas hosts the World's Toughest Mudder.
Ultrarunners gather in India's Hyderabad on Sunday to compete at the IAU 50k World Championships. The International Billiards & Snooker Federation presents the World Championships in Doha, Qatar, lasting for three weeks. Finland's Lohja, a previous location of the sport curling, on this occasion hosts the World Wheelchair-B Curling Championship. We then cross the Atlantic to spend the weekend in Avondale, Arizona, to see who will be crowned champion at the Championship 4 of the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series. The second major event at the popular Huntington Beach in California brings together the best para surfers at the ISA World Para Surfing Championships.
