We begin a new month of sport with an online event. Presented by the World Backgammon Internet Federation, the Consultation World Championship is only on Monday. Chess experts gather in Kraków, Poland, to compete in the World Senior Team Chess Championships. A popular location for many sports events, Czechia's Nové Město na Moravě hosts the Junior World Orienteering Championships. We are back at Hang Loose Beach near Gizzeria in Italy for the Formula Kite Youth World Championships. The third Grand Slam of the season is about to begin in southwest London. Wimbledon is ready for two weeks of The Championships. The waters around Portugal's Viana do Castelo showcases two major sailing competitions. These are the ILCA U21 World Championship and the ILCA 6 Women & ILCA 7 Men U21 World Championships

Hungary's Szolnok opens Tuesday with the 46th World Military Championship Parachuting. Slalom canoeing comes to Liptovský Mikuláš in Slovakia as the Juniors and the Under 23s compete in the World Championships. Cerebral palsy football will be showcased at the Club World Cup in Barcelona. With the World Rugby Under 20 Championship currently being played in South Africa, there is also the World Rugby Under 20 Trophy in Edinburgh. The Under 18s head to Buenos Aires to feature in the World Aquatics Men's U18 Water Polo Championships.

To ensure we do not forget the greats of cricket, Birmingham in England hosts the World Championship of Legends beginning on Wednesday.

Seoul begins Thursday with the World Taekwondo Demonstration & Breaking Championships. Wheelchair fencers are in Poland's Warsaw to compete in a World Cup event. Street & ball hockey is the sport in Slovakia's Žilina at the World Junior Championship. The juniors, seniors and masters all feature in the World Underwater Federation World Championship Freediving Indoor. Rotterdam becomes the home for the world's best students at the World University Championships Rowing

Combining orienteering with mountain biking from Friday, Smiltene in Latvia features the CX80 World Cup in MTB Orienteering and the U23 World MTB Orienteering Championships. Finland's Sonkajärvi brings the best husband and wife teams together for the Wife-Carrying World Championship. The Super Final of the World Aquatics Artistic Swimming World Cup will go to Hungary's Budapest. Attracting to most skilful athletes with fishing equipment, the International Casting Sport Federation presents the next World Cup in Nové Zámky, Slovakia. The next round of the FIM MotoGP World Championship heads to the Sachsenring in Germany. We then go to the Saarland district where Neunkirchen is the location for Round 4 of the FIM Trial World Championship. We stick with trials, but on this occasion cyclists are in action at the UCI Trials World Cup in Norway's Myrkdalen. The FIA Formula One World Championship spends the weekend at England's Silverstone for the British Grand Prix

This week we have two International Federation of Sleddog Sports dryland races. These are at the Benarkin State Forest in Australia's Queensland, and the second features near Jundiaí in Brazil. We recently had the Under 17s compete in their World Cup. Joining the events on Saturday will be the Under 21 Korfball World Championship in Kemer, located on Türkiye's Mediterranean coast. We have three major World Sailing competitions. Remaining in Türkiye, Izmit hosts the 470 Junior World Championships, Germany's Warnemünder Woche is the home for the Zoom 8 World Championships, while the J/80 World Championship spends eight days in La Rochelle, France. The next stop of the World Triathlon Cup is at the industrial town of Tiszaújváros in Hungary. Höljes in Sweden has the privilege of opening the new season of the FIA World Rallycross Championship with two rounds over the weekend. The masters of table tennis compete in the International Table Tennis Federation World Masters Championships in Rome. Trampolining and Tumbling are the disciplines in Portugal's Coimbra in the next International Gymnastics Federation World Cup. Boomerang fans and experts will be heading to Westminster in Colorado to compete in the World Boomerang Championship

The next generation of bowling experts begin Sunday in South Korea's Incheon with the International Bowling Federation World Youth Championships. Slovenia's Tim Gajser leads the overall standings of the FIM Motocross World Championship. Sunday's race is the second successive weekend in Indonesia's Lombok. Wheelchair fencers compete in Warsaw in the World Abilitysport Wheelchair Fencing Category C World Championships and Sabre Team World Championships. A classic gold label race, the World Mountain Running Association presents the Valsir World Cup in Heiligenblut am Großglockner in Austria. Our full Ironman of the week features in Switzerland's Thun. The second event by World Abilitysport is Frame Running in Denmark's Bagsværd. We close the weekend in Porto where the next Carom-Billiards World Cup 3-Cushion will take place.
