Long have sport climbing fans been waiting for the new IFSC World Cup season. Not only do we have one, but two competitions in China within the same week. Monday begins in the Keqiao District where Bouldering is the discipline. Salou in Spain becomes the home for almost two weeks to athletes with cerebral palsy. Organised by the International Federation of CP Football, the 2024 Men's World Championships completes on 19 April. 

Ivanpah Valley in Nevada is the perfect location for the Blokart Land and Sand Yachting World Championships beginning on Tuesday.

The city of Turkistan in Kazakhstan hosts the World Deaf Judo Championships from Wednesday. The tournament is organised by the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf

Wujiang District is the second stop of the International Federation of Sport Climbing. On this occasion Lead and Speed are the disciplines from Thursday until Sunday. Winter Guard International presents a sequence of major events with the first being the 2024 Color Guard World Championships in Dayton, Cincinnati (both Ohio), and Highland Heights (Kentucky). The famous Augusta National Golf Club is ready for the Masters Tournament, our first golf major of the year.

Fencing's future stars are in action in Riyadh to compete in the FIE Juniors and Cadets World Championships beginning on Friday. Rhythmic gymnastics for seniors will be on display in Sofia at the FIG World Cup. The first World Rowing Cup of the new season features in Italy's Varese. We remain in Italy for another first World Cup of the season. On this occasion it is presented by the International Casting Sport Federation in Vicenza. Round 2 of the FIM Enduro GP World Championship moves to Valpaços in northern Portugal. We then cross the Atlantic to Brazil's Mairiporã, located in the State of São Paulo, where the first stage of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Tour will take place. Florida's Coral Springs hosts Round 3 of the 18th CMAS Finswimming World Cup. The Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas completes Friday's main events as the FIM MotoGP World Championship spends the weekend in Texas. 

The commune of Misano Adriatico in Italy opens Saturday with Round 6 of the FIA Formula E World Championship. The Two Oceans Marathon in Cape Town becomes the International Association of Ultrarunners gold-label race of the week. The highly popular E World Triathlon Championship Series, formerly known as Arena Games and delivered in partnership with supertri, will now take place over a single day of fast hybrid racing at the London Aquatics Centre. Portugal's Vouzela hosts the Masters in the ISF Skyrunning World Championships. We are now already at Round 13 of the SuperMotocross World Championship, with the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, as the location on Saturday evening. Our final event of the day is the Concacaf 2024 Futsal Championship in Nicaragua's Managua. 

On Sunday Finland's Joensuu becomes the second stop of the FIM Snowcross World Championship. Crossing the Gulf of Finland to Estonia's Tallinn, Division I, Group B of the IIHF Ice Hockey Under 18 World Championship continues until 20 April. At the same time Group A begins in Denmark's Frederikshavn. The final junior ski competition of the season completes in Sweden's Idrefjäll with the presentation of the FIS Ski Cross World Championship. We then have Round 7 of Formula E in Misano Adriatico, while Pietramurata becomes the home of the MXGP of Trentino, the next round of the FIM Motocross World Championship
