The picturesque terrain will serve as the perfect setting for round 3 of the Orienteering World Cup. Two major World Sailing competitions also begin on Tuesday. Valencia opens the Snipe Women's World Championship, while across the border Cascais near Lisbon will host the M32 World Championship. For those who love to play frisbee with their dogs, Skyhoundz presents the World Canine Disc Championship at Camp Jordan, East Ridge, in Tennessee.

Staying with the theme of juniors, Portugal's Odivelas hosts the Judo World Championship for Individuals and Teams. There are two world organisations for wake surfing. On this occasion the Competitive Wake Surf Association presents the CWSA World Championship starting on Thursday in Seoul. The highly anticipated Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 opens with the first match between England, the defending champions, and New Zealand in Ahmedabad, India. The competition is the 50-over format of the game. Bodybuilding and fitness experts are in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, for the Mr and Ms World. Cheerleading comes to Seoul from Friday for the International Cheer Union World Cup 2023. A relatively new addition to the air sports family, Namwon-si in the North Jeolla Province of South Korea, hosts the FAI World Drone Racing Championship over four days. The future stars of the combat sport sambo gather in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, for the World Youth and Junior Sambo Championships. The UCI Mountain Bike World Cup tour heads to Mont Sainte-Anne in Quebec, Canada. Friday completes in Camp Koinonia near Cle Elum in Washington State, with the Iron Paws World Cup, the next International Sleddog Sports Federation competition.

The World Mountain Running Association presents a Silver Label World Cup race with Ljubljana in Slovenia as the base. We have two World DanceSport Federation World Championships on the same day. Czechia's Brno hosts Latin Dancing for Under 21s, while Seniors are in Dresden for Ten Dance. The city of Kalamata in southern Greece hosts the CMAS 6th Freediving Outdoor World Cup, which runs in conjunction with the Masters competition. The combat sport Savate, popular in France, heads to Weiz in Austria for the World Cup of Clubs. Veneto is a north-eastern Italian region stretching from the Dolomite Mountains to the Adriatic Sea. It will become the perfect setting for the Union Cycliste Internationale Gravel World Championship over the weekend. Rome is the next stop of the World Triathlon Cup. Featuring inside specially constructed arenas, the FIM X-Trial World Championship reaches the penultimate round at the Sports Centre of Andorra. It is also the penultimate round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship with Cape Town as hosts. The second World Triathlon event is the Para Cup in Alhandra, Portugal. Santiago del Estero in Argentina is the next stop of the UCI BMX Racing World Cup with Rounds 7 & 8 over the weekend. We then cross the Andes to the commune of Los Ángeles in the central region of Chile for an IFSS Sled Dog World Cup race. Sunset Lake near Groveland, Florida, rounds off the major events on Saturday with the IWWF World Waterski Championships.
We begin Sunday at the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre near Melbourne for the International Mounted Games Association World Teams Championships. Powerlifters head to Mongolia's Ulaanbaatar for the World Classic & Equipped Championships for just over a week. It is the final International School Sport Federation competition of the year. Belgrade will host Futsal as the discipline. Rodos on Greece's Rhodes Island hosts a major chess tournament with the World Individual Championship for the Blind and Visually Impaired. The FIM Supermoto GP World Championship reaches the final round of the season in Mettet, Belgium, before the Supermoto of Nations a week later. We go to north-western France where the commune of Ernée has the honour of hosting the MXGP of Nations, the last date of the 2023 FIM Motocross World Championship. We remain in France, but on this occasion in the south-western region, for the FIM Long Track Under 23 World Cup in Morizès that also completes the season.
