We begin the week with two major World Sailing competitions; one in Denmark and the second in the Netherlands. Greve hosts the RS Tera World Championship, while the RS500 World Championship will be held in Bruinisse. Northwest of Paris lies the Centre Equestre La Bonde, that will become the home of the International Mounted Games Association World Pairs Championship. Windsurfers spend an entire week at El Médano to compete in the Tenerife Professional Windsurfers Association World Cup. The beautiful island of Roatán in Honduras hosts freedivers in the World Underwater Federation World Cup Depth Series. Adding to a busy Monday, we then go to Marion in Indiana for the Drum Corps International Open Class World Championship, displaying the best of color guard.
Juniors showcase their skills at handling Free Flight Model Aircraft in Prilep, North Macedonia, in the FAI F1ABP World Championship. Joining the events on Tuesday is the first of two minigolf sport competitions. Austria's Voitsberg hosts the Youth World Championship. We have now reached round 3 of the Motosurf World Championship in Båstad, Sweden.
Wednesday opens with the second minigolf sport event. Canegrate in Italy hosts the Seniors World Championship. The masters converge on Viborg in Denmark for the World Mountain Bike Orienteering Championships.
The Esports World Cup is now in week 6. Thursday is joined by three further events, all featuring in the United States. Many of the strongest golfers compete in the World Long Drive Championship in Atlanta, Georgia. The second Drum Corps International competition heads to Indianapolis. The World Championship includes prelims, semi-finals, and the finals. Fort Worth in Texas has been selected to showcase the fittest athletes at the Crossfit Games 2024.
On Friday Poland's Wadowice on this occasion entertains the seniors at the UCI Trials World Cup. The Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portugal is the next destination of the FIM Superbike World Championship. We are now in the second half of the season. Experts of skimboarding get the opportunity to display their skills at the Zap World Championships of Skimboarding in Dewey Beach, California.
The southern hemisphere's greatest showpiece of rugby union opens the first round on Saturday. Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa begin their quest for the 2024 title of The Rugby Championship. We then find ourselves in Romania's Strejnicu where the World Air Sports Federation presents the F4 World Championships for Scale Model Aircraft. Austria's Graz has been selected to host the World Dodgeball Federation World Championships. Many of the best mountain runners will be descending on the Sierre-Zinal region of Switzerland to compete in the World Mountain Running Association World Cup. Our third major sailing competition is the GP14 Class World Championship at Plas Heli in Wales. The masters of tennis compete in Lisbon in the International Tennis Federation World Individual Championships in age groups 30, 35, and 40. Joining the two color guard competition in Indianapolis is the DCI All-Age World Championship.
The main event on Sunday is the MXGP of Sweden, the next round of the FIM Motocross World Championship Uddevalla, Sweden.
