After a big weekend in Wollongong, Australia, the 2024 World Triathlon Cup moves next to the city of Chengdu on Monday. We then cross all the way to Montréal where the BISFed World Boccia Cup will be on display. Related to bowls and pétanque, the sport is contested by athletes with severe physical disabilities.

Tuesday is dominated by two major mind sports. China's Xintai hosts the Renju World Team Championship, while Peru's Callao brings the brightest school students together to contest the FIDE World School Chess Championships.

Hong Kong begins Wednesday with a Fencing World Cup for experts of foil as the weapon type. We then move west to Baku in Azerbaijan where all three disciplines of Rifle, Pistol, and Shotgun will be contested in the International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup. One of the highlights of the show jumping season is the Royal Windsor Horse Show in England. The Global Wingsports Association World Tour spends five days in Spain's Tarifa for a surf-freestyle competition. A mind sport comes to Portugal's Albufeira where draughts take centre stage in the World Team Championship. South Carolina's Myrtle Beach has the privilege of hosting the World Strongest Man.

The World Underwater Federation Indoor Series heads to Poland's Łódź. Joining the events for Thursday, the UCI Para-cycling World Cup Round II will be contested at Belgium's coastal city of Ostend. The famous Queen's Club in London hosts the Rackets Ladies World Singles Challenge.

Only two rounds remain of the revamped World Rugby Sevens Series. Our next stop is Singapore from Friday. Stop 2 of the World Aquatics Artistic Swimming World Cup takes us to Paris. The world's best mountain bikers go to Scotland's Fort William for the next UCI Mountain Bike World Cup. Pilot Gig Rowers spend the weekend in St. Mary's on the Isle of Scilly to compete in the World Championship. The streets of Miami will light up for Formula One, round five of the season. Bouldering and Speed are the two disciplines in Salt Lake City at the next International Federation of Sport Climbing World Cup

Tower running, a sport where athletes run up the stairs of some of the tallest buildings, will have its World Championships on Saturday in Taipei City, Taiwan. The next International Association of Ultrarunners gold-label race features in Latvia's Riga. The first major multi-stage UCI WorldTour begins this weekend with the Giro d'Italia. The small Swiss village of Mosnang hosts Round 2 of the UCI Cycle-Ball World Cup. We remain in Switzerland where the best paragliders compete in Grindelwald at the PWCA World Cup. We then move to the Geneva Arena for Round 5 of the FIM X-Trial World Championship. The big sailing competition heads to the south of France. The Nacra 17 World Championship features near the picturesque area of La Grande-Motte. The Bahamas National Stadium is all set for the World Athletics Relays Bahamas 24. The masters tennis players compete in Mexico City at the ITF World Individual Championship. We complete Saturday with Round 16 of the SuperMotocross World Championship in Denver, Colorado. 

Two motorcycling events feature on Sunday, both in Portugal. Agueda hosts the FIM Motocross of Portugal, while the FIM Junior GP World Championship races in Estoril.
