The first is the 19th Juniors and 21st Senior CMAS World Open Water Championship until Saturday. With the senior tennis tournament recently completing, Hersonisos in Greece resumes with the World Deaf Youth Tennis Championships. Golf fans eagerly await the start of the Ryder Cup, a biennial men's competition between teams from Europe and the United States. On this occasion the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Rome has been selected to host the prestigious tournament. Monday completes with the International Dance Organization Tap Dance World Championships in Germany's Riesa.
The World Darts Federation opens Tuesday with the World Cup 2023 in Esbjerg, Denmark. There are a number of World Military Sports Championships in close succession. Málaga brings the best in the world together at the 52nd WMC Swimming until Saturday.
Joining the juniors in Belgrade, on Wednesday is the first day of the 4th Masters CMAS World Open Water Championship. Basketball fans head to the city of Lublin in Poland for the FIBA 3x3 U23 World Cup, the condensed version of basketball. The seaside resort of Jesolo within Italy's Metropolitan City of Venice, becomes the focal point for kickboxers at the Italian Kickboxing WAKO World Cup and Italian Open. Las Vegas resumes as the regular host of the 3WallBall World Championship, a multi-sport event that includes handball, paddleball, and racquetball.
The popular resort town of Lignano Sabbiadoro in north-eastern Italy brings together flying disc experts. Thursday is the start of the World Flying Disc Federation 2023 World Wheelchair Ultimate Championships. The second major paragliding competition of the week takes us to Wasserkuppe in Germany for the 12th Paragliding Accuracy World Cup Finals. Barcelona will delight show jumping fans with the FEI Jumping Nations Cup Final. One of the big mind sports heads to the popular Caribbean holiday destination of Willemstad in Curaçao with the World Draughts Federation World Championships for two weeks. The FIA World Rally Championship now only has three more races remaining of the season. On this occasion Concepción in Chile will act as the service park until Sunday. Part of the World Obstacle family, the Ninja Championships head to the Aragua region of Venezuela for a World Cup event. Snowshoe in West Virginia, normally associated with winter sports, serves as the perfect terrain for UCI Mountain Bike World Cup - XCO/XCC/XCM/DHI.
Friday begins at the Mobility Resort Motegi in Japan for Round 14 of the FIM MotoGP World Championship. Olbia in Italy hosts a major powerboating race with the next round of the UIM F1H2O World Championship. Remaining in Italy and on this occasion it is World Rowing presenting the Beach Sprint Finals in Barletta. We have the next round of the UCI Mountain Bike Eliminator World Cup in Barcelona. Cyclists race specifically constructed courses in urban areas. Pilot Gig Rowers round off the season with the Super Vets Championships in Swanage, England. The final round of the FIM Enduro World Championship takes us to Valpaços in Potugal. The next motorcycling event is also in Portugal as the FIM Superbike World Championship enters the penultimate round at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve.
The Women's Tennis Association's next major tournament begins in Beijing on Saturday with the China Open. Speedway fans will be travelling to Toruń in Poland for the last round of the FIM Speedway World Championship. Fishing skills will be on display near Croatia's Novigrad at the World Championships Boat Angling. Following on from the youth competition, Hersonisos hosts the third major tennis tournament with the World Deaf Team Tennis Championships. Mountain runners will gather in northern Italy where Primiero hosts the next World Mountain Running Association World Cup race. Artistic Gymnastics is the discipline in Antwerp, Belgium, at the 52nd FIG World Championships. It is also the final round of the FIM Sidecar Motocross World Championship with Castelnau-de-Lévis in France given the honours of hosting. With a backdrop of the Sugarloaf Mountain in the State of Maine, XTERRA present the Trail Run World Championship over the weekend.

Turkey's coastal city of Antalya brings muaythai fans and experts together at the Youth World Championship and U23 World Cup. With the women's marathon world record smashed in Berlin on Sunday, Riga gives the best road runners the opportunity to repeat the performance at the World Athletics Road Running Championships. Prilep in North Macedonia hosts a day-only World Cup for Aeromodelling enthusiasts, covering a range of classes. Yacht Club Burja in Slovenia hosts the L30 Class World Championship, the next main World Sailing event. Ravenna, located on Italy's Adriatic coastline, hosts a major air sports event with the 15th FAI World Cup of Style and Accuracy Landing, testing the skills of parachutists. The World Skateboarding Tour comes to Rome for the Rome Park 2023 World Championships that is also an all-important Paris 2023 Qualifying competition. Scheduled to still go ahead, Morocco's Tangier hosts the World Triathlon World Cup, a one-day event. Portugal's Póvoa de Varzim brings Boccia to the coastal city with the start of a World Cup competition for just over a week. Sunday's main sports events complete in San Diego with the International Military Sports Council presenting the 14th WMC Golf.
