The Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 has reached the semi-final stage. The hosts India will take on New Zealand, while five-time winners Australia play South Africa. Matches are on Wednesday and Thursday, with the final on Sunday. We begin the week in Lithuania's Vilnius with the World Equipped Open Powerlifting Championships. Moving further south to the spa town of Laško in Slovenia for the World Hip Hop Cup and the World Street Dance Show Championships. Both competitions form part of the International Dance Organization season. The best junior padel players gather in Paraguay's Asunción to compete in the XIV FIP Juniors World Padel Championships

Originally founded by professional kickboxers, Shoot Boxing is both a combat sport and a stand-up fighting promotion company based in Tokyo. On Tuesday we have the Shoot Boxing 2023 Series Final also in Tokyo. While the Draughts Open World Cup is still in progress in Lishui, China, they are joined by the 16th FMJD Women's World Championship Blitz for the day only. The popular Cauipe Lagoon in Brazil northeast coast hosts the Global Kitesports Association Kite-Surf and Hydrofoil-Freestyle World Cup. Wushu, or kung fu, is a competitive Chinese martial art. Fort Worth in Texas will be the home of the 16th World Wushu Championships

Stand Up Paddling (SUP) is the discipline in Pattaya, Thailand, beginning on Wednesday at the 2023 ICF SUP World Championships. Italy's Cervino is the next stage of the FIS Women's Downhill Alpine World Cup. There are two major show jumping competitions this week. The Stuttgart German Masters 2023 and Mexico City Jumping Tour both begin on Wednesday. Moving more west in Mexico, the city of Guadalajara hosts the future stars of weightlifting at the IWF World Junior Championships

Gifu in Japan will be the service park for the final round of the FIA World Rally Championship beginning on Thursday. While the seniors recently competed in Birmingham, the city will resume as hosts of the 30th FIG Trampoline Gymnastics World Age Groups Competitions. Golf professionals will be at the Earth Course of the Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai to compete in the DP World Tour Championship, the final round of the season. Dubai is also the location for skydivers at the 2023 Skydive World Cup Series Accuracy Landing.

We begin Friday in Beijing with two main events. The International Skating Union presents the World Cup Speed Skating. The Olympic Stadium will open the new season of the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton World Cup. We now only have two rounds of the FIM MotoGP World Championship 2023 to complete. The Lusail International Circuit in Qatar will host the penultimate round. Portugal's Albufeira, located on the southern Algarve region, brings Seniors and Masters together at the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations World Championship. Following on from the Pan American Games, Santiago is ready for the Parapan American Games 2023 until the following Sunday. With a number of fencing world cup competitions again this week, we begin in Peru's Lima with the FIE Junior World Cup for both women and men. We complete Friday with the FIA Formula One World Championship opening the weekend in Las Vegas. It also the penultimate round of the season.

We continue over the weekend with three more FIE Junior Fencing World Cup competitions. These will feature in Uzbekistan's Tashkent for women, Georgia's Tbilisi for men, and Tunisia's Tunis for men. It is the Shooting Sport World Cup Finals for Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun experts. Qatar's Doha has been selected to host the prestigious event. BMX riders gather in Ötztal, Austria, for the UCI Pump Track World Championships. We are moving further into the Alpine Ski World Cup season with a day-only slalom competition for men in Gurgl, Austria. Right before the world championships, we have one more sled dog race. The IFSS World Cup Kivo Kempen Trial features in Veldhoven, Netherlands.

On Sunday we go straight to the beautiful Solomon Islands where Honiara opens the Pacific Games 2023. The International Skyrunning Federation is organising two major events, both in Osaka. The Abeno Harukas tower is the location for the Stair Climbing World Championships. Moving outside of the city and to the surrounding mountains, the best mountain runners compete in the Skyrunning World Championships. Latvia's Salaspils hosts the WDSF U21 World Championship with Standard as the dance discipline. Round 4 of the UCI Cyclo-Cross World Cup takes us to Troyes in France. Also known as Chinese chess or elephant chess, Houston opens the 18th World Xiangqi Championship.
